What makes anime so great in my opinion is all the emotions it can make you feel. Some anime’s really have you all up in your feelings, other anime’s may have moments that enrage, annoy you, or even make you extremely happy! But for the purpose of the challenge that I have yet to finish. I will talk about an anime that has made me cry on several occasions! This anime has been around for years, and some may think it is cliche, BUT I grew up with this anime since the Naruto days. That right I will be talking about the some of the saddest moments that have made me cry in both Naruto, and Naruto Shippuden. Ladies and gents! I am warning you now. THERE WILL BE MAJOR SPOILERS!
When talking about weird anime’s only one anime came to mind … I remember watching this anime on adult swim I think. It was always on as I was relaxing before bed. I remember thinking to myself what a bizarre anime! So what anime am I talking about? Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is by far the weirdest anime I have ever seen lol. This anime really was just bizarre from start to beginning in my opinion. Continue reading →
What is weird anyways? I mean what I may find weird may not be as weird to you. so what is weird to you? I have read some pretty weird manga before, but one in particular was not only weird, but enjoyable! Yuri Mekuru Hibi is an ongoing manga by Reona Mizuki. This is surely one of the silliest, yet weirdest yuri manga’s I have ever encounter .
Hey guys sorry for delay! Work was really tiring yesterday … I literally had no energy or motivation to do anything. Though I fell off a day I am ready to get back on track! You know I have been thinking about this question since last night. I have a few manga’s that have really blew me away. Enough that I have re-read the series, but I don’t know which one I want to talk about! That is a problem my friend! So decided to choose three that I think might interest you guys as well! Have you ever watched an anime that just absolutely blows you away? I mean it was so awesome you watch it more than once! This anime is one of the few anime’s that will always remain one of your top favorites, because you found it that enthralling. Me personally, I have a few of those anime’s that have a special place in my heart. One of those anime’s just so happen to be Strike Witches. Strike Witches is a mixed-media project originally created by Fumikane Shimada. Strike Witches has a rather large franchise ranging from several light novel, manga, and anime series and various video games. However, for this blog post I will solely talk about the anime series itself! Continue reading →
It didn’t take much thought when it came down to my favorite anime studio. The answer was very simple for me, for I knew what studio capture my heart with their movies, and style of animation. Studio Ghibli is by far one of my favorite studios in the anime industry. I haven’t watch a single movie made by them that I did not like. Their work is simply beautifully done, and so well thought out. I truly feel like they put a lot of love into what they do. Each film is unique in its own way, and they have a way with making it easy to relate to one of their films. Ghibli films are just simple magical, and touching. There are so many words that could describe Ghibli films, but that is what makes them so amazing.
Honestly guys I can’t really remember the very first manga I read, because it has been years since I started reading manga, but I want to say it was “Princess Resurrection”or “Kaibutsu Oujo”. Man does this manga bring back memories. 12 year old me thought this was the greatest manga to ever exist. I mean what kid wouldn’t think a manga filled with werewolves, demons, monsters, vampires, and a bad ass princess isn’t cool! Princess Resurrection by Yasunori Mitsunaga is also known for other great manga series like, Kako to Nise Tantei, Tama Kick, and many more.
Princess Resurrection has a total of 20 volumes, and began publication June 25th, 2005 through February 26 2013. No I have not read all 20 volumes, and to be honest I couldn’t tell you what volume number I was on. If I was to do a review on this series I would need to re-read the series to be frank. However, I will pull something out of my ass, and make this an awesome blog post.
I really try not to hate on anime’s to much, because I feel like each anime can be enjoyable in it’s own way. Though you may not like certain aspects of the anime, there are aspects of it you may find that you enjoy. However, it is impossible to like every anime you watch. I have never met a single person who doesn’t have a few anime’s they just can’t stand. I am going to make Black Clover by Yuki Tabata my example since I already talk about my dislike for Asta in my previous post called, “Day 6: 30 Day Anime & Manga Challenge … Least Favorite Anime Character?“
Day 6 of the anime, and manga challenge and I must say I am pretty proud of myself. I am usually not one to stick with challenges this long … trust me 6 days is long for me haha. Enough of me rambling let’s get down to the challenge!
I always say characters make the anime, and I truly believe it is true. When you have awesome characters the rest of the anime seems to flow well for the most part. However, a badly done character can throw off an anime’s flow. It can honestly make an anime less appealing. Definitely if the badly done character is the main character. For this challenge I am going to talk about three anime characters I am not very fond of.
Manga is a lot of fun to read for it opens up your imagination to endless possibilities. However, rather it be a book, or a manga we all have that one, or two authors that really stick with us! In this awesome blog post I am going to talk about three of my top manga authors. The following three authors that will be mentioned are Makoto Fukami, Moto Momono, and Haru Akiyama!
